According to fire eagle, eagle tweet, and usually dopplr I might be in United States
Metrics and Dashboards are starting to get super hot. Now instead of a million facebook clones, we’ll get a metrics/dashboards everywhere?
Hope, it’s hot and sunny… it’s amazing how different the cities of montevideo and buenos aires feel
According to fire eagle, eagle tweet, and usually dopplr I might be in Uruguay
Did Buenos Aires properly, got back from the party, had pizza at 6am, and now am seeing the sunrise. Now ferry home across the river.

Hey, i did a rails rumble project this past weekend, building a code review tool for git. Our application name is: How’s My Code.
Now it’s in the public voting http://r09.railsrumble.com/entries We’re close to winning. Check out the other apps too, they’re cool.
OH by dbpedia guy “my prototype is based on completely complicated semantic web rdf technology”
Oh fun, now’s the time geo / open street map sessions at wikimania.
Conferences in Buenos Aires are fun, but the whole dinner at 11pm, then hanging out, makes getting up for 9am sessions hard.
Fascinating, “wikipedia decision making, does factions and group fights cause consensus decision making to break down?”
I’m getting to help to demo editing media wiki pages live through google wave… kind of cool.
Interesting, apparently a lot of the experimental innovation in wikipedia starts out on the german language site first. #wikimania
OH @jimmywales “one of the thing we’ve tried to avoid is voting… there’s almost certainly a better way”
Wikimania OH “Sometimes the decisions is not based on who has the most support, but the choice of the loudest most obnoxious fighters”

Hanging out in bauen hotel, tired, heading to sleep soon
Ironic. Esperanza Wikipedia was a top down private group to improve decision making. They dissolved because they failed to come to agreement
Evaluating social coms of french wikipedia editors, “twitter we use, but facebook, not so much” except to keep contact with ex-editors
Ironically, not everybody in this wikimania session of wikipedia editors know the meaning of the word serendipity
Hearing an Israeli, venezuelan, and american wikipedians debate debate democracy is a funny thing.

Researcher who is looking in to how online communities are governed… she talked about flickr, wikipedia, and indymedia. very interesting
