Sitting in the totally packed session on side projects at rails conf… was a huge push to even make it in to the room.
Question “How many people have IT managers who say ‘thou shalt run java?’” Nobody in the audience raises their hand..
My read is that Glassfish, jRuby and jMaki are for IDE loving java folks who want to escape to rails but can’t do it for real.

Made it to LAX and now just one more jump to SFO… I’m starting to get kind of tired…. at least i had leg room and could sleep
1 hour stop over in Lima… at least im able to get online as i go… 8 hours to go to lax, then a quick hop up to sfo… ugh long trip

It’s been a hard week… Tomorrow i’m going to the US for Google IO and Rails Conf….
At first i thought it was a caffeine headache, but now i think i’m coming down with something, ugh.
